Qualifications

• Active NAII listing with NC DHHS required.
• Active NAII listing with NC Board of Nursing required.
• Current HeartSaver or higher certification required.
• De-escalation training required or to be completed within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Participates in quality improvement activities and data collection.
• Attends staff development and orientation programs.
• Follows hospital/unit policies and ensures quality patient care.
• Maintains licensure and collaborates with the care team.
• Contributes to unit goals and cost-effective use of equipment and supplies.
• Under supervision of a licensed nurse, assists in direct patient care and delegated tasks.
• May perform additional duties (e.g., EKGs, phlebotomy) as trained.
• Monitor patients and communicate safety concerns to the care team.
