Advocate Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)for 36 hours per week in the AMC Mount Pleasant - Med Surg IU 1 unit. The role involves 12-hour shifts from 1830 to 0700, with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.

You will assist with basic patient care, document vital signs, manage daily activities, and support discharge planning under the supervision of registered nurses. Must maintain patient safety and infection control standards.

Formación

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, mobility).
• Measure and document vital signs and intake/output in EMR.
• Perform rounds and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge processes including room setup and patient belongings.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of nursing area and equipment.
• Assist with patient positioning and transfers using proper technique.
