Advocate Health is hiring a Nurse Aide I/II to support patient care on a 3-shift schedule at Carolinas Medical Center - LCH: Nursing: 5 Observation. The role requires a high school diploma, valid Nurse Aide registry, and BLS certification.

Expect 3 12-hour day shifts per week with weekend/holiday requirements. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, hygiene, and safe patient handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the Nurse Aide Registry (Nurse Aide I or II) as per state Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Take vital signs, height, and weight measurements.
• Assist with personal hygiene and mobility.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and environment.
• Observe patient condition changes and report to RN.
• Orient patients and families to unit and safety procedures.
• Assist with clerical tasks and data entry.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Perform tasks per Nurse Aide I/II scope lists.
• Compete ECGs and routine venipuncture with proper training.
