Job summary

Advocate Health's AMC Summit - Med Surg on IU 4th Floor is seeking a Nursing Assistant for 12-hour shifts (6:30pm-7am). This full-time role (36 hours/week) includes weekend and holiday rotation and provides benefits eligibility, with options like retirement plans and educational support.

Under RN supervision, you will assist with daily patient care, document in EMR, help with transfers, stock supplies, and maintain safety and hygiene standards for patients.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with EMR systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care: bathing, feeding, mobility, and positioning.
• Document vitals and patient data in EMR accurately and timely.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Maintain stock levels, clean equipment, and ensure supplies availability.
