Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide to join the Nursing Float Pool in Grafton. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule with 36 hours per week and a pay range of $20.80 to $31.20 per hour.

The role involves direct patient care under the supervision of RNs, including daily living activities and documentation in EMR. Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED/HSED, with BLS certification due within 45 days.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, GED or HSED.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with state registry; BLS within 45 days.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Record vitals and patient data in EMR as directed.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Maintain nursing area stock and equipment; clean work areas.
• Respond promptly to patient calls and ensure lights are within reach.
• Perform infection control and hand hygiene per policy.
