Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care and clerical support in our clinical units. The role requires reliability, punctuality, and strong teamwork to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

We offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, a minimum hiring rate of $16.25 per hour, and up to $40,000 in tuition reimbursement to pursue nursing education. The position features 3 shifts (3 x 12 hours) with evenings and nights, and a full-time schedule

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) per unit policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within Nursing Assistant scope.
• Observe and document patient needs; report changes to licensed staff.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient safety watches.
• Transcribe and process orders; coordinate tests and transportation.
