Job summary

Geisinger Community Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant for night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), 36 hours weekly. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and communication to support patient care and unit operations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 1 year related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical duties and direct patient care activities as needed.
• Provide patient care within the nursing assistant scope to support the care plan.
• Document patient conditions and changes for licensed staff in a timely manner.
• Assist with activities of daily living and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Transport specimens and assist with coordination of tests and meals.
