Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Good communication and professional interpersonal skills.
• CPR certification within 6 months of employment.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant by the State of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Introduce self and role to patient at start of shift.
• Answer call lights and assist with patient care tasks.
• Provide water, personal care, and daily activities as directed.
• Record vital signs and report abnormal findings to RN.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe unit environment and follow safety procedures.
