Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Weirton is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) to support patient care in a critical illness recovery setting. The role offers 12-hour shifts, PRN Per Diem, and a starting wage of $20.00 per hour with weekend differentials and a $1,250 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair.
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Position: Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA)

Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Weirton

Schedule: 6:00AM-6:30PM, PRN/Per Diem, 4 12-hour shifts in a 6 week period

Compensation: $20.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for weekends
