Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking an Administrative Nursing Supervisor to coordinate admissions and transfers within the hospital, ensuring bed placement aligns with clinical standards. The role supports executive on-call coverage and participates in improving operations to reduce delays in patient care.

Qualified candidates will hold an RN license in Minnesota, with 4 years acute care RN experience and 2 years in leadership; BSN or ADN with completion plan is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Registered Nurse (RN) program.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing with completion date required (staff hired prior to 9/1/21 exception).
• Four (4) years acute care RN experience with two (2) years in a nursing leadership position.
• Currently licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota.
• Demonstrates CPR competency at time of employment and every two years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates admission and transfer to the most appropriate bed using criteria and clinical judgment.
• Expedites admission/transfer delays to minimize obstacles to patient flow.
• Assists executive leaders on-call for house-wide or high-risk issues during off-shifts and weekends.
• Participates in improving operational and strategic planning related to care without delay.
