Job summary

Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or eligibility for North Carolina licensure.
- More than three (3) years of experience serving as nursing faculty in an accredited nursing education program.
- Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate nursing students.
- Experience providing academic remediation, student mentoring, tutoring, or individualized academic support.
- Strong communication, organizational, instructional, and interpersonal skills.
- Certification as a nurse educator, such as Certified Nurse Educator (CNE), is preferred.
- Experience with student success data analysis, program evaluation, and academic intervention planning.
Responsibilities
- Design, launch, and oversee a structured Nursing Student Tutorial Program for undergraduate nursing students.
- Coordinate tutoring, workshops, and academic skills development activities.
- Identify at-risk students and develop individualized coaching plans with follow-up.
- Provide examination preparation strategies and structured remediation.
- Collaborate with faculty and program leadership to evaluate readiness trends and interventions.
- Maintain confidential records of coaching sessions and tutoring participation.
