Qualificações

• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted NC Registered Nurse license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing and one year of teaching (incl. hybrid/online) in higher education.
• Ability to leverage technologies that engage students in learning.
• Proficiency in test construction using the NCLEX blueprint, statistical analysis, and instructional reinforcement to meet learning outcomes.
• Clinical expertise with strong communication and assessment skills.
• Evidence of mentoring undergraduate students and involvement in study abroad, internships, or community service learning.

Responsabilidades

• Teach undergraduate nursing courses with focus on adult health, mental health, and maternity/newborn care in traditional, hybrid, or online formats.
• Develop detailed course syllabi, deliver didactic and clinical/lab instruction, and provide timely feedback on student work.
• Advise and mentor graduate and professional students, participate in program planning, and contribute to department and university service.
• Attend department, school, and university meetings and maintain active involvement in professional activities and community engagement.
