Villa At Borgess Place is actively seeking a Nurse Unit Manager RN to lead day-to-day nursing activities within the facility. The role focuses on assessing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care to maintain high-quality resident care.

The incumbent will supervise nursing staff, ensure compliance with policies, and collaborate across departments to optimize patient outcomes. The position requires current RN licensure in Michigan, a nursing degree, and supervisory experience.

Formación

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited college/university.
• Current RN license in the state.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manages nursing staff, scheduling, performance reviews, and policy enforcement.
• Collaborates with administration, medical and nursing staff to plan care.
• Develops and maintains care standards and conducts rounds to monitor patient condition.
• Provides and documents nursing care per plan and ensures standards are met.
• Ensures clean, sanitary work areas and proper medication handling.
• Assists QA/QA Committee in action plans to address deficiencies.
• Performs administrative duties like forms, reports, and charting.
• Interprets restorative care policies to staff and residents.
