Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager RN to oversee day-to-day nursing activities at Villa At Borgess Place. You will ensure high-quality care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans.

The role requires supervising staff, coordinating with admin and medical teams, and maintaining standards of practice while managing shift operations and patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages nursing staff, scheduling breaks, and performance reviews; enforces policies.
• Collaborates with administration, medical and nursing staff to plan care.
• Develops and maintains care standards and conducts rounds to monitor resident conditions.
• Performs administrative duties and ensures documentation meets regulatory standards.
