Villa At Borgess Place is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager LPN to join their team in Kalamazoo, MI. The role manages day-to-day nursing activities, ensures quality care, and coordinates assessment, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.

Candidates should have an active LPN license in Michigan and CPR certification, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience and long-term care/MDS familiarity. Full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manages nursing staff, scheduling breaks, reassignments, performance reviews and coaching as needed.
• Meets with administration and nursing staff to plan care and develop standards.
• Makes rounds to monitor resident conditions and ensure standards are met.
• Documents data for Medicare/Medicaid and internal policies.
