Job summary

Villa at Pine Place in Michigan is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager RN to lead the day-to-day nursing activities and to ensure the highest quality of resident care through careful assessment, implementation, and evaluation of each plan of care for residents. You will supervise staff, coordinate with administration and therapy teams, and uphold nursing standards across all shifts.

The ideal candidate holds an active Michigan RN license, CPR certification, and at least two years of supervisory

Responsibilities

• Manages the nursing staff, scheduling breaks, reassigning employees as needed, writing performance reviews and enforcing policies.
• Meets with administration, medical and nursing staff, therapy department and other related departments to plan care.
• Develops and maintains care standards.
• Makes rounds to monitor resident conditions and ensure staff adhere to nursing standards.
• Provides and receives nursing reports during shifts.
• Ensures areas are clean and sanitary.
• Assists QA in action plans for deficiencies.
• Performs administrative duties like forms, reports, and charting.
