Job summary

The role requires current CT RN license, BSN, BLS, and demonstrated leadership. You will lead a dynamic team, coordinate staffing, and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN license.
• BSN degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) and Arrhythmia Certification required prior to hire.
• Prior leadership experience and/or unit committee work preferred.
• Specialty certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a work group to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Schedule and assign work; monitor progress and workload.
• Collect data to monitor quality and productivity; identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop recommendations and implement changes aligned with the hospital's strategic goals.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate staff performance.
