Job summary

Western Home Communities is looking for a Nurse Training Coordinator to onboard and train new nursing staff in Cedar Falls, Iowa. You'll play a pivotal role in developing confident and capable nursing teams that directly affect the quality of care provided to residents.

This position involves hands-on training, compliance monitoring, and collaboration with leadership to ensure that staff are well-equipped to meet the needs of patients. If you are passionate about teaching and mentoring, we'd love to hear from you!

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of long-term care experience required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Ability to flex schedule, including evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training for new nursing staff.
• Deliver hands-on clinical education and 1:1 coaching to support skill development.
• Ensure staff are trained on proper nursing care and documentation.
