Job summary

Western Home Communities in Cedar Falls, IA, seeks a Clinical Development Coordinator (LPN/RN) to support employees across clinical development, including CNA classes and CAPS instruction, and to provide clinical instruction for Medication Manager training.

You will onboard new nurses, provide ongoing clinical education, assess progress, and collaborate with Learn & Earn and nursing leadership to help staff advance their careers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state board-approved RN or LPN program.
• Currently licensed as RN or LPN in Iowa.
• LPN Supervisory Course required, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Two years of experience in Long-Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead CNA classes and support CAPS classes as a secondary CNA instructor.
• Provide clinical instruction for Medication Manager training (RN applicants only).
• Assist with new nurse orientation and clinical onboarding.
• Onboard, train, and work 1:1 with direct care professionals to advance education.
• Plan and facilitate learning activities; assess progress and provide feedback.
