Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services seeks a dedicated Training and Education Leader for skilled nursing staff. You will oversee orientation, ongoing education, curriculum development, and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality resident care.

The role may include facility-wide training, infection control, and development of training materials. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in geriatric nursing.
• 1 year experience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in nursing.
• Previous leadership or managerial experience is a plus.
• Active LPN or LVN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and teach all in-services for licensed nurses, nursing assistants and other staff as required by the state.
• Create and develop training programming based on business or regulatory needs.
• Maintain recordkeeping systems to demonstrate compliance in all staff in-services.
• Support department managers in planning, presenting and evaluating in-service programs.
• May lead other training types, including technology-based and infection control training.
• Measure training effectiveness and drive continuous improvements.
• Manage all campus in-services and coordinate with speakers as needed.
