Job summary

Abrazo West Campus, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide professional bedside care on an assigned unit. You will coordinate care planning, supervise staff, and evaluate outcomes to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires attention to safety, teamwork, and strong communication. Ongoing education and professional development are encouraged in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• ACLS & PALS certifications as applicable or must obtain within specified orientation period.
• Two years of NICU experience or Level II NICU experience including neonatal ventilator care.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge planning needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determines nursing diagnosis based on assessment and data analysis.
• Sets realistic patient population–specific outcome goals using patient and family input.
• Individualizes the plan of care based on patient needs and procedural complexities.
• Implements nursing and medical orders and ensures they are appropriate to the patient’s current status.
• May be asked to be in charge for a shift.
