Job summary

Abrazo West Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional bedside care on an assigned unit and coordinate with the care team. The role includes supervising staff, planning care, and applying nursing processes to meet patient needs.

You will participate in hourly rounding, ensure safety guidelines, and may be asked to lead shifts as required. Abrazo West Campus emphasizes professional growth and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Licenses: RN license in Arizona; CPR. ACLS as applicable by facility/department.
• ACLS/PALS/ENPC or other certifications may be required per department.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety and discharge needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determine nursing diagnosis based on assessment and data analysis.
• Set patient population specific outcome goals with patient/family input.
• Individualize the plan of care according to patient needs and circumstances.
• Implement nursing and medical orders appropriate to the patient’s status.
• Supervise and direct other healthcare staff as assigned.
• Assist with hourly rounding and shift coverage as needed.
