Job summary

Abrazo West Campus currently seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care on an assigned unit, coordinating care with other disciplines. The role includes bedside nursing, planning and directing patient care, and supervising staff as needed.

The nurse will participate in evaluating nursing practice and may lead shifts as required. With Tenet Healthcare backing this campus, the position emphasizes safety, patient outcomes, and continuous education within a collaborative team

Qualifications

Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or obtain within six months of hire.
Two years of NICU experience including neonatal ventilator (as applicable).
Arizona RN license, CPR. ACLS as applicable by facility/by department.
ER/ICU/Endoscopy/Tele/Cardiac Cath Lab/L&D ACLS on orientation.
ER: PALS or ENPC within ninety days; NRP for L&D orientation.
Wound care: Wound-Ostomy certification or training.

Responsibilities

Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit and coordinates care planning.
Direct bedside nursing care based on nursing process and patient needs.
Supervises by assessing, planning, delegating and using independent judgement.
Evaluates quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and participates in rounding.
May be asked to be in charge for a shift.
