Job summary

Trinity Health’s St. Mary Medical Center in Bucks County, PA, seeks a Nurse Supervisor for PT Day shift to lead nursing teams, oversee operations, and support patient care excellence.

The role focuses on coordinating staff, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting a high standard of clinical practice. The supervisor will guide frontline staff, participate in performance management, and collaborate with nurse leaders to advance departmental goals and patient outcomes at St.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license by Pennsylvania Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and advance people, processes and support direct or indirect patient care.

Position Purpose:

The Nurse Supervisor is a licensed registered nurse (RN) who works in a collaborative environment at St Mary and is accountable for leading, managing & advancing people, processes & / support direct or indirect patient care. The Nurse Supervisor promotes & advocates for patients, nurses / colleagues & the practice of nursing as defined by clinical area (s) of expertise & assignment.

What You Will Do:

• Employment Type/Shift: PT Days
• Frontline, department-based, direct or indirect healthcare department / program .
• F ormally / informally supervises daily &/or house functions of charge nurses, professional & frontline staff (multidisciplinary team) of assigned department .
• May or may not have direct report relationships .
• M ay be accountable for the staff coordination, scheduling & assignment, or throughput .
• May participate in & contribute to the performance management / review process .
• Contributes to the daily performance, daily adherence to regulatory requirements & drives results of team within assigned department .
• Implements departmental plans & priorities identified by accountable nurse leaders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license by Pennsylvania Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prior leadership experience & / or other experience / licensure / certifications aligned with area of responsibility & assignment.
