Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor to lead and advance patient care within a collaborative nursing team.

The Nurse Supervisor will manage staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote high-quality clinical practice across the department. A BSN is required with RN licensure in PA or a compact state; MSN preferred for leadership roles. This role offers PRN shifts and part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN license by Pennsylvania Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing.

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is looking for an experienced Nurse Supervisor to join the team!

The Nurse Supervisor is a licensed registered nurse (RN) who works in a collaborative environment at Mercy Fitzgerald hospital and is accountable for leading, managing & advancing people, processes & / or programs that support direct or indirect patient care. The Supervisor promotes & advocates for patients, nurses / colleagues & the practice of nursing as defined by clinical area (s) of expertise & assignment.

What You Will Do:

• Employment Type/Shift: PRN - shifts vary.

• Frontline, department-based, direct or indirect healthcare department / program.

• Formally / informally supervises daily &/or house functions of charge nurses, professional & frontline staff (multidisciplinary team) of assigned department.

• May or may not have direct report relationships.

• May be accountable for the staff coordination, scheduling & assignment, or throughput.

• May participate in & contribute to the performance management / review process.

• Contributes to the daily performance, daily adherence to regulatory requirements & drives results of team within assigned department.

• Implements departmental plans & priorities identified by accountable nurse leaders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

• Current Registered Nurse license by Pennsylvania Board of Nursing or Compact State.

• Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.

• Prior leadership experience & / or other experience / licensure / certifications aligned with area of responsibility & assignment.
