Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic's St. Mary Medical Center in Bucks County is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the MG3 unit (Day Shift, 7am-7:30pm). The role focuses on direct and/or indirect patient care using professional nursing skills and emphasizes infection control and patient education.

The unit handles tele-monitored, isolation, behavioral patients with a 5:1–6:1 ratio. You will document assessments, coordinate care with the team, and participate in rounds to ensure safe,

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN License.
• AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs and tailor patient education to age, culture, and spiritual values.
• Documents admission assessments, plans of care, interventions, and medication effects per policy.
• Utilizes the information system to communicate patient status and coordinate care with the team.
• Explains transfer of responsibility during bedside handoffs and interprofessional rounds.
• Identifies special needs and integrates abuse recognition and referrals into care.
• Incorporates pain management and supportive care into the plan.
• Adheres to infection control standards and maintains a safe, clean environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Shift: Day Shift (7am-7:30pm)

Location: St. Mary Medical Center

Position Purpose The primary objective of this position is to provide quality of care. Responsible for the direct and/or indirect care of patients assigned utilizing professional nursing skills and knowledge.

Unit Overview Tele monitored patients - isolation, suicidal, behavioral patients. 5:1-6:1 ratio. Unit has 26 beds, all private rooms.

As a Registered Nurse, you will

• Assesses learning needs, readiness to learn and identify actual or potential barriers to learning and thereby incorporating the patient's education into daily activities based on age, cultural and spiritual values.
• Documents admission assessment / reassessment, plan, interventions and medication use and monitors its effects and outcomes according to policy.
• Utilizes the information management system to enhance communication and documents change in-patients condition to all appropriate individuals. Prioritizes work assignment based on changing situations.
• Communicates transfer of patient responsibility and pertinent information at the bedside and during Interprofessional Rounds
• Recognizes and integrates patient special needs and individualizes care and knowledgeable in abuse recognition and referral
• Includes pain management and supportive care issues in the plan of care.
• Adheres to infection control standards specific to patient care and by promotes and maintains a safe, clean and orderly environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
