Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor to join the team. The Nurse Supervisor is a licensed RN who leads, manages and advances people, processes and programs that support direct or indirect patient care.

The role focuses on supervising frontline staff, coordinating scheduling, contributing to performance reviews, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license by Pennsylvania Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing.

• Frontline, department-based, direct or indirect healthcare department / program.
• Formally / informally supervises daily &/or house functions of charge nurses, professional & frontline staff (multidisciplinary team) of assigned department.

• May participate in & contribute to the performance management / review process.
• Contributes to the daily performance, daily adherence to regulatory requirements & drives results of team within assigned department.
• Implements departmental plans & priorities identified by accountable nurse leaders.

The Nurse Supervisor is a licensed registered nurse (RN) who works in a collaborative environment at Mercy Fitzgerald hospital and is accountable for leading, managing & advancing people, processes & / or programs that support direct or indirect patient care. The Supervisor promotes & advocates for patients, nurses / colleagues & the practice of nursing as defined by clinical area (s) of expertise & assignment.
