Job summary

Grosse Pointe Hospital, part of Corewell Health, is seeking a Nurse Supervisor for a 20-hour-per-week night shift to help lead nursing staff across units. The role coordinates personnel and resources, ensures policy adherence, crisis management, and robust communication between departments and the leadership team on a 24/7 basis.

BSN is required with 3+ years of clinical nursing and 1+ year of formal leadership for external hires (internal candidates: 1 year informal leadership); MI RN and BLS

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Three years of relevant clinical nursing experience required.
• One year of relevant formal nursing leadership experience required for external applicants.
• One year of relevant demonstrated informal leadership experience required for internal applicants.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and organizes personnel and resources to meet patient care functions in a cost-effective manner.
• Collaborates to provide crisis management, interpret policy and procedure, and assure timely communication between individuals and departments.
• Represents organizational leadership across all venues on a 24-hour basis and acts on behalf of the leadership team.
