Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking an experienced nurse leader to assume shift accountability for supervising and coordinating the operational and financial effectiveness of the nursing service. Some on‑call availability may be required to support nursing services.

The role collaborates with unit leaders to develop policies, manage budgets, allocate resources, ensure standards of care, and mentor RNs/LPNs while providing on-call coverage and house supervisor duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's Degree.
• 1 year of relevant clinical experience in area of specialty preferred.
• RN license in state of Michigan upon hire.
• BLS certification by AHA or ARC (90 days) upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Assumes shift accountability for delivering quality nursing services through direct supervision of staff and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Evaluate nursing care and conduct rounds to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
• Lead budget planning and resource allocation to support department goals.
• Maintain staff development, performance improvement, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Facilitate policy, procedure, and guideline development and interpretation.
• Support privacy, confidentiality, and data security.
