Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN must be obtained within the specified time frame for certain start dates.
• RN licensure in Michigan required.
• Competency in ANA standards and professional practice expected.
• Several advanced certifications (ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC) may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides evidence-based nursing care per interprofessional plan and ANA standards.
• Communicates and collaborates with the health care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Acts as patient/family advocate and performs point-of-care testing as needed.
• Maintains documentation accurately and timely.
• Assumes autonomous leadership and delegates to unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate.

Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing

Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years for certain start dates

Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 7 years for certain start dates

BSN requirement within 5-7 years for specific campuses

BSN within 5 years after 1/21/24 for Corewell Health South

NRP/ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC certifications as required

State of Michigan RN licensure
