Job summary

Piedmont Medical Network - Rock Hill Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead and coordinate the assigned department's operations, ensuring safe patient care, staffing, and fiscal responsibility. Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Licenses: valid RN license in the state of residence; multi-state license if applicable.
• Certifications: American Heart Association BLS CPR; CPI certification; other unit-specific certifications during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates flexibility in responding to unpredicted situations, such as emergencies, assignment and staffing or schedule changes.
• Sets priorities independently, prepares assignments and duties at the beginning of each shift, adjusting and delegating as situations change on the unit as needed.
• Supports the growth and development of nursing personnel by facilitating assessment of educational needs on an ongoing basis. Takes an active role in educating staff when a need and/or opportunity is identified.
• Assists with evaluation and improvement of patient care by assuring an ongoing unit-based quality-monitoring program to include development and implementation of PI monitors and reports.
• Delegates shift duties appropriately including but not limited to chart checks, defib/refrigerator logs, abnormal lab follow up and documentation, cleaning and stocking rooms, checking rooms for outdated supplies, pulling trash/linen as needed
• Performs related duties as required.
