Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation seeks a Nurse Supervisor to lead patient care teams in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will guide nursing staff, ensure program implementation, and uphold compassionate, high-quality care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with administration and multidisciplinary teams, mentoring staff, and driving positive patient outcomes while maintaining regulatory compliance and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure is required.
• BSN preferred or related field.
• BLScertification with ACLS required within one year of starting.
• CRRN certification required within one year of eligibility.
• Two years of inpatient hospital experience within the last five years.
• Previous leadership role (e.g., charge nurse) with accountability for staff and results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized patient care programs, policies and procedures.
• Serve as liaison between administration, nursing management and staff.
• Supervise nursing care, treatment and services during assigned shifts or unit.
• Monitor and manage staff performance, including feedback and evaluations.
• Provide patient care as needed and build relationships with patients and families.
