HCA Healthcare invites qualified new graduate nurses to an Invite Only Nurse Residency Hiring Event for South Houston facilities on Tuesday, October 27th, from 11am-3:00pm. The event connects top graduates with the right team and pre-screening ensures focused interviews.

The RN Resident program is year-long, providing hands-on clinical experience, mentorship, classroom learning, and ongoing support to transition from student to registered nurse.

Qualifications

• BLS certification (within 30 days of employment)
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• RN license or Graduate Nurse in the State with NCLEX date confirmed
• No previous experience required
• Some travel may be required for training

Responsabilités

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as ordered, and document care timely
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic response
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs
• Educate patients, families and caregivers about condition, treatment plan, medications and follow-up
