Job summary

HCA Healthcare invites new graduate nurses to participate in an Invite Only Nurse Residency Hiring Event for our South Houston facilities. The program offers hands-on clinical experience, mentorship, classroom learning and ongoing support as you transition to professional practice.

The RN Resident will rotate through departments, engage in preceptorship, and work on an evidence-based project while developing critical thinking and patient-centered care skills.

Qualifications

• BLS to be obtained within 30 days of employment or during the program.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program (ADN/BSN).
• RN license orGraduate Nurse in the State with NCLEX date confirmed.
• No prior nursing experience required.
• Some travel may be required for training.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift; report changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and other duties as ordered by providers.
• Administer prescribed medications; monitor responses and intervene as needed.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, plans, medications, and outcomes.
