HCA Houston Healthcare is hosting an Invite Only Nurse Residency Hiring Event for South Houston facilities, designed to connect new graduate nurses with supportive teams. The RN Residency Program offers hands-on clinical experience, mentorship, and classroom learning to bridge from student to registered nurse.

This year-long, full-time paid program emphasizes expert skill-building, preceptorship, and ongoing professional growth within a structured environment across several Houston campuses.

Formación

• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment (will be acquired during program).
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State with a confirmed NCLEX date.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, noting changes.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor therapeutic response.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and respond promptly to patient needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, and follow-up measures.
• Work collaboratively with care team to ensure high-quality care.
