HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking an RN Quality Coordinator to serve as a consultant across departments and drive transformation in patient outcomes through evidence-based practice initiatives. You will lead performance improvement activities and collaborate with medical staff to assure continuity of care and high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes ethics, compliance, data analysis, and education of staff.

Qualifications

Must be a registered nurse (RN).
Bachelor's or Associate degree required.
Two years of experience required.

Responsibilities

Act as a consultant to departments to improve patient outcomes.
Lead performance improvement initiatives and quality initiatives.
Educate hospital staff on evidence-based practice initiatives.
Develops and recommends protocols for evidence-based practice.
Oversees and analyzes data related to throughput of patient populations.
Provides data to outside agencies and hospital leaders to drive change.
Collaborates with medical staff to ensure continuity of care and quality outcomes.
Works with EMS to ensure continuity of care from pre-hospital to hospital.
Represents hospital at local/regional levels for best practices.
Ensures compliance with TJC and regulatory guidelines.
Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork; supports other duties within licensure.
Assists with accreditation programs in collaboration with departments.
