AdvantageCare Physicians (ACPNY) in the New York City area is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver medical services in collaboration with a physician, across primary care and specialty settings. The role involves taking patient histories, performing exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing medications under NYS and federal law, ordering tests, and coordinating care with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and NP program completion required.
• Active NYS RN license and NP registration.
• Board certification as NP required or in process.

Responsabilités

• Obtains and documents patient history per chief complaint.
• Conducts physical exams and documents findings.
• Diagnoses and treats diseases; manages chronic illness.
• Prescribes medications per NYS and federal law.
• Orders and interprets labs, imaging, and tests.
• Provides preventative health services and counseling.
• Collaborates with clinicians to ensure continuity of care.
• Performs other duties as required.
