The role includes coordinating the specialty care team, supervising LPNs and CTA IIs, and participating in new hire orientation and staff development while maintaining timely documentation in the EHR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• New York State RN license required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS for GI and Cardiology.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in ambulatory or hospital settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients and support patient safety and quality of care.
• Serve as primary liaison between patients, staff and physicians for the Advanced Care Model.
• Organize and supervise the specialty care team including delegation, mentoring, scheduling, and counseling.
