Job summary

AdvantageCare Physicians (ACPNY) seeks a professional nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care and to actively support patient safety and satisfaction standards across our New York offices. You will be the primary liaison between patients, staff and physicians, and you will organize and supervise the specialty care team, including delegation, mentoring, and scheduling.

You will also provide clinical supervision to LPNs and CTA IIs, assist with orientations and training, coordinate daily

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license (unencumbered).
• BLS certification; ACLS required for GI and Cardiology.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Experience in hospital or ambulatory settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients and support patient safety and quality of care.
• Act as liaison between patients, staff and physicians and support the Advanced Care Model.
• Supervise specialty care team including delegation, mentoring, scheduling and education.
• Provide clinical supervision to LPNs and CTA IIs and assist with staff scheduling.
• Coordinate daily huddles and manage patient charts and orders.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during treatment and procedures.
• Document care plans, progress notes and AVS with patients.
