Job summary

KingRecruitingServices in the Greater Sacramento area seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care in a community health center. Relocation assistance is available; schedule options include Mon-Fri 8-5 or a 4x10 shift.

You will perform patient evaluations, manage acute and chronic conditions, order tests, prescribe treatments, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated care for underserved populations.

Qualifications

• Active California NP license and board certification required.
• DEA and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years in community health or underserved populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations with history and physicals.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and interventions within scope.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with Medical Director.
• Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Initiate emergency procedures when indicated.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling.
• Maintain documentation per agency and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for coordinated care.
