Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care in the Greater Sacramento area. This role involves collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to serve diverse, underserved populations.

Requirements include CA RN and NP licenses, NP board certification, DEA and BLS, with 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred. Relocation assistance is available and EPIC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active California RN and Nurse Practitioner license.
• Current Nurse Practitioner board certification.
• Current DEA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred, especially in community health.
• Commitment to serving low-income, homeless, or medically underserved communities.
• Comfortable treating three patients per hour.
• EPIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director.
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate.
• Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
