Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC seeks a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) to deliver comprehensive primary care in a community health setting. Located in the Greater Sacramento area, the role offers relocation assistance and a competitive salary.

Monday–Friday 8-5 or 4x10 shifts—with a focus on underserved communities. Responsibilities include patient evaluations, chronic disease management, diagnostics interpretation, treatment planning, and team-based care with physicians.

Qualifications

• Active California RN and Nurse Practitioner license.
• Current Nurse Practitioner board certification.
• Current DEA certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred, especially in community health.
• Comfortable treating three patients per hour.
• Bilingual English and Spanish or other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director.
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate.
• Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
