Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Advanced degree in an approved NP program.
• Current KY Nurse Practitioner license.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical care to inmates, including exams and infirmary rounds.
• Maintains SOAP progress notes and adheres to formulary guidelines.
• Responds to emergencies and manages non-formulary drugs or referrals.
• Supports admission, transfer, and specialty referrals.
• Maintains confidentiality and participates in facility committees.
