Position Type: Part Time.

Salary Range: $36.50 - $38.50 hourly.
Job Shift: 1st Shift/Days.

Outpatient Treatment Programs located within the Barnstable House of Correction and Middlesex House of Correction.
Schedule
Part‑time: 32 hours a week, every other weekend required.
- Odd weeks (Week 1): Sunday (Middlesex), Monday (Middlesex), Tuesday (Barnstable), Friday (Barnstable), Saturday (Middlesex).
- Even weeks (Week 2): Monday (Middlesex), Tuesday (Barnstable).
Pay Rate
Pay rate: $36.50 per hour for LPN, $38.50 per hour for RN. $3.00 hourly weekend differential.

Responsibilities
- Administer medications to clients as outlined in medication administration policy.
- Control, count and appropriately document onsite medication.
- Educate clients on the use, purpose, side effects, and other information relating to medication‑assisted treatment.
- Verify medication orders with the physician and transcribe physician’s orders.
- Assist in the admission process and document substance‑use diagnosis as required.
Qualifications
- Must be a Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
- Must have a current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.
- Must be able to express oneself adequately in written and oral communication and communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff, and regulatory agencies.
- Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.
