Schedule

Part-time

Pay rate

$36.50/hour (LPN), $38.00/hour (RN). $3.00/hour weekend differential

Responsibilities

• Administering medication to clients as outlined in medication administration policy.
• Control, counting and documentation of onsite medication.
• Educating clients on use, purpose, side effects, and other information relating to medication assisted treatment.
• Verifying medication orders with the physician and transcribing physician’s orders.
• Assisting in the admission process and documenting substance use diagnosis as required.

Qualifications

• Must be a MA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Must have a current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must display independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.
