Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. in Bourne, MA is seeking a dedicated LPN or RN for an outpatient treatment program at the Barnstable House of Correction. This full-time role includes a $5,000 signing bonus, a weekend differential, and comprehensive benefits.

You will administer medications, document administration, educate clients on MAT, verify orders, and assist admissions. MA license and CPR within 90 days required; prior substance use/mental health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a MA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Must have a current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must display the use of independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in emergencies.
• Must communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• The control, counting and appropriate documentation of onsite medication.
• Educating clients on use, purpose, side effects, and other information relating to medication assisted treatment.
• Verifying medication orders with the physician and transcribes physician's orders.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours, Every other weekend required

Pay rate: $36.50/hour (LPN), $38.50/hour (RN). $3.00/hour weekend differential
