Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. in Bourne, MA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) for an outpatient treatment program located at the Barnstable House of Correction. This full-time role (40 hours weekly) includes every other weekend.

Pay ranges from $36.50/hour (LPN) to $38.50/hour (RN), plus a $3.00/hour weekend differential. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance with voluntary options, company-paid life insurance and employee assistance programs,

Qualifications

• Must be a MA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Must have a current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must display independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and emergencies.
• Must express oneself adequately in written and oral communication in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting.

Responsibilities

• Administering medication to clients as outlined in medication administration policy.
• Control, counting and documentation of onsite medication.
• Educating clients on use, purpose, side effects, and other information relating to medication assisted treatment.
• Verifying medication orders with the physician and transcribing physician’s orders.
• Assisting in the admission process and documents substance use diagnosis as required.
