Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is seeking an Assistant Nurse Operations Manager to lead the Surgery department and oversee OR operations. This full-time role reports to nursing leadership and focuses on achieving department and hospital goals through strong operational management.

Ideal candidate has a BSN, active RN license, relevant leadership experience, and a track record in improving patient outcomes and staff performance.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current RN license (Alabama or NLC) or compact license.
• BLS certification required; leadership certification preferred within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates environment to ensure quality, safety, compliance with standards.
• Plans and directs delivery of patient care to achieve outcomes.
• Manages budget and staffing; drives cost-effective operations.
• Leads change and promotes a healthy, safe work environment.
• Partners with leadership to implement new technologies and processes.
