Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital is seeking a Nursing Operations Manager (NOM) to lead the Oncology nursing team and oversee inpatient direct care units. This full-time role partners with hospital leadership to achieve clinical and operational goals.

The NOM will drive quality patient care, staffing, budgeting, change management, and performance improvement while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and Baptist Health's mission and values.

Qualifications

• BSN required; advanced degree preferred (MSN/DNP or MBA/health field).
• Current RN licensure in Alabama or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates the environment to ensure delivery of quality service, optimal patient flow and safety, and compliance with standards.
• Plans, leads, organizes, directs, and evaluates the delivery of patient care to achieve outcomes.
• Promotes a safe environment for patients and staff with high reliability of processes and quality outcomes.
• Embraces workplace diversity and participates in nursing policy formulation and decision-making.
• Ensures continual improvement by measuring performance against nursing and patient care standards.
• Serves as an agent of change to help leaders and teams implement change.
• Analyzes and maintains an effective nursing delivery model reflecting patient/family needs.
• Participates in planning and implementing new technologies, procedures, and services.
• Identifies, recruits, develops, and retains top talent.
• Manages recruitment, development, mentorship, retention, supervision, evaluation, and productivity.
• Develops and manages unit/department budgets and ensures cost-effective operations.
