This role partners with the Nursing Operations Manager to guide patient experience, budget performance, HR activities, and quality outcomes.

The ANOM supports staffing, process improvement, and staff development while maintaining compliance with hospital standards.

Qualifikationen

• BSN required if no MSN; MSN/DNP or graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum RN licensure in Alabama; BLS and other certifications may be required.

Aufgaben

• Shared 24/7 accountability with Nursing Operations Manager.
• Participates in recruitment and selection of new team members.
• Coordinates with HR regarding corrective action and career advancement.
• Investigates event reports and provides feedback to management and staff.
• Oversees unit schedules to ensure appropriate staffing and patient care.
• Maintains patient flow and intervenes to achieve expected outcomes.
• Performs nurse leader rounds to identify variances from best practice and standards.
• Leads process/quality improvement initiatives to improve outcomes.
• Ensures customer experience is upheld and provides service recovery as needed.
• Interfaces with patients and families to coordinate nursing activities.
• Leads staff meetings and huddles; demonstrates ownership of unit outcomes.
• Performs direct patient care activities as required to meet operational needs.
• Maintains regular attendance in line with policies.
• Promotes safe working environment and ongoing professional development.
